Coloured nail varnish

Postby Osc » 27 Dec 2015, 18:21

Miss Osc gave me a selection of OPI nail varnishes, only one possibly two are colours I would wear. The others are a grey, beige, pale blue and a very vibrant sparkly blue. Now I've never really liked nail varnish in colours other than red/pink shades but Miss Osc said she thought it might be nice for me to try something different. Thing is, I don't think I have seen too many women of my age wearing these different colours, I know you are all so kind and will say I am not too old, but what do you think, should I give them a go?

Goodness me yes! Go for it :D The beigey nudes, in particular, look very nice for every day I always think, and you could try the blues out when you go dancing! :Hi: :D

Nothing to do with age, IMHO :D

Personally I don't like blue nail varnish. I would think the beige would look nice and maybe the grey but I am not keen on blues, etc.

But then I never wear any nail varnish so what do I know

I don't wear varnish on my fingernails very often, but when I tried a pale beige a couple of years ago I was surprised how classy it looked and how versatile.
And yes, I think with some of your posh frocks you could try the blues, though I'd prefer a French navy to a pale shade :)
The grey could look really good too :)

Worth a try, they come off easily enough :x

My blue colours are dark...the one pale blue I had went straight in the bin as it made my hands look ill!

Jackie bought me a dark grey polish (L'oreal) that I love.

What are you all like  The thing is, I did such a good manicure on myself on Christmas Eve that my nails are still perfect and I don't want to take off the current colour until they start to chip
