Something else I am trying out.

This has a festive season feel and is so easy.

The words you are looking for are:

Elves

The words can be horizontal, vertical or diagonal and also front-to-back or back-to-front.

1 guess pp/pd

You need to give the grid marks for the start and end of each word, for example: B3 to G8 or L10 to E10.

No mistakes so far! I will have to make the next one a lot more difficult.

Quick question: do I need to mark out the words already found or is it OK as it is?

A good question, Frank. I don't think it would be wise to do anything to the main 'chart',
but perhaps the ones found could be deleted from the list of words to be searched for.?

Aha! A great idea, Aggers, thank you. I did try my method and it is a lot of hard work when people already know what the answers are.

I am off to delete the words already found.

One thing you could do is that instead of giving the 10 words, you give 10 crossword-style clues leading us to the 10 words ..... :geek:

That could be an interesting level of complexity, and as far as I know, it's not being done elsewhere, so copyright the idea quick .. :)
