We eat quite a lot of squid so I know what to do with that but have only ever had octopus cooked for me.

Oh well, experiment time tomorrow.

I've ignored it all day. It keeps crying out to me whenever I open the fridge.

The Mick spotted it and said "oh, you've not done anything with the octopus. Never mind, I'll sort it out tomorrow".

:D
Hold him to that then :)
My Dad once won a brace of pheasants in the golf club Christmas raffle.
The guy who donated them actually offered to draw and pluck them, and Dad said, 'oh no, don't worry, Di and I will do that'
So there we were, Christmas eve, I had one hand down a pheasant's insides and the other holding the phone to cousin's husband who's a butcher :D
