So sorry to hear about Candy, Shaz.

Well last night Candy decided to eat me out of house and home. I cant quite believe the amount of food she put away. I took her to the vet this morning and he was relatively happy with her. They've decided she is going to go back on 1/2 unit of insulin every two days and he'll see her in a a week.
He did say that he is almost certain the problem is with her pancreas but as they cannot do anything for that then they'll just keep on treating for diabetes.
He did make sure I understood that there is no cure and she is really living on borrowed time and just to spoil her.
To me, anything is a bonus so we'll just have to wait and see how this week goes.
This is the 3rd time I've gone to the vet expecting her to be put to sleep and she surprises me every time-I may rename her Lazarus!
