Indian Summers

Postby Kaz » 15 Feb 2015, 19:45

The new drama series on Channel 4 tonight at 9pm - it's set in the last days of the Raj in 1930's India.

I'm going to give it a go as it stars Julie Walters, and I really like her 8-) :)

Shame about the Julie Walters thing, but she makes my skin crawl.

I enjoyed it Kaz. Couldn't watch A Casual Vacancy, as Keeley Hawes has the same effect on me. Plus that just looked depressing.

I enjoyed it.

I've been looking forward to it as I enjoyed the book. So far its a fairly good portrayal of the book.

I absolutely loved this programme!

I wont say too much in case others haven't watched it yet - but the scenes with the little boy near the end (who reminded me SO much of Craig at that age :o ) had my heart thumping.
