We were trying to work out where the view was from - Grumpy reckoned it was from somewhere else.

So Inspector Ton goes up onto our roof terrace and looks

It's from their house, right enough, what it's not showing is the stonking great house - and roof - in front of it. He must have been on a step-ladder

The sale has fallen through - how sad for them, it's taken months - and now they've dropped by almost 20,000.

We like the village, like the outside ish, and as we'll be popping up next month anyway will arrange to have a look-see.
