Racing, at a Grand Prix?

Well I never!

Quite a good race today at Silverstone, nicely broken up by the weather.

I thought that my Williams boys might just do it but the rain caught them out. Great calls by Hamilton and Vetel for the inters, though.

If we have to have DRS a rethink is needed for next year. With today's areo the cars cannot get near enough through Maggotts and Becketts for it to have much effect down Hangar straight. The trouble is that apart from Wellington all the other straights do not have braking zones at the end. I suppose it would not be too difficult to make Copse a 90 degree R-hander at the end of the old pits straight.

Also loved that film of Lewis with Stirling Moss, isn't he amazing :)

I wish Williams had let Valerie race Felipe at the very beginning though. He was definitely faster and I think he could have built up a really good lead.

Felipe's start was fantastic. Such a shame neither ended up on the podium.

What a shame for Button too.

Nice for Teflon to end up with Marcus' point

I really hope Teflon has a car he can race in next year. I know he has had some teflon moments, but he is the driver I find it the hardest to dislike because he is a fantastic racer and wasted in that Maclaren (spell check wants to change Maclaren to Macaroon ha ha)
