Yes, good luck to him. However, will he be able to perform, that's the question ......

On Tuesday night, I saw Frank Sinclair (stalwart of Chelsea and Leicester, if you remember him) turn out for Colwyn Bay @ my local BSB Conference North side, Solihull Moors. He's 41 now, 4 years older than Becks, played as a sweeper - and he didn't have the best of games, TBH, against Moors' young strikers.

I suppose it's a matter of knowing when to call it a day ......

I quite like Becks....

This is not a football move, not in the playing sense imo, it is a statement by PSG about where they want to be in the Euro football hierarchy - 48th at present.

By signing big name near-end-of-career footballers: Alex, Ibrahimovic, Motta, Beckham, they are sending out the message "we can do", possibly in the hope of getting younger stars in the future. PSG is only a young club and success has eluded them for some time.

He will do OK as long as his lumbago isn't playing him up!

He may be giving his "wages" to charity, but how much will he get from the sale of merchandise such as shirts costing 80 euros.
