Strictly!

Postby Osc » 26 Sep 2015, 18:53

Thought I would start a new thread as the other one got quite long. Looks like it is going to be a great series, some really promising dancers! Jay Mc Guinness was so sweet, the new Italian pro is mmmmmmmm and Anton seems to have someone who has real potential :D

It was lovely settling down to watch it, first time in our new home :Hi: :Hi:

It looks set to be a great series indeed Osc. :D :D

The Italian was fab. ;) ;) :D :D

Katie Derham was a delight to watch and has a great pair of legs! :D :D :D

There are some very good dancers this early on so it's looking good for when they really start to master the steps and moves. :D :D

I bloomin love SCD. :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Me too :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

It was lovely to see Anton at the Albert Hall. Last time we met him and Erin (cough cough) was during the International championships there a few years ago, they had a period of general dancing so of course we got out there quickly and ended up dancing beside them :o Said hello and reminded them where we had met, got a kiss from Anton and he asked Mr Osc how his golf was going. They have a fab memory for names, we were at one of their weekends and the first workshop, we all wore name badges but by the second one, they had everyone's name, a great gift to have.

We watched last night as Hannah wanted to :) It was interesting watching a programme with someone who had worked on it! :geek: She did tell me some snippets of gossip, but if I told you I'd have to kill you :P ;) :D

I like Carol, she seems very down to earth on BBC Breakfast, but I didn't like the way they frizzed her hair out (sorry, I know that's a bit off topic)  Kellie has obviously done a lot of dance, I suppose being a stage school brat she would have done. I thought Daniel did ok :D I loved how his missus was keeping a beady eye

Katie does have amazing legs! They will all be tiny and much slimmer than they look anyway, Hannah said they are all much smaller in RL than they look on the telly. Even Lisa Riley, the chubby girl from Emmerdale who was on three years ago is much smaller than she looks apparently.

I really like weather lady Carol but hardly recognised her - what on her had they done to her hair?!

Jamelia's boobs should have their own post code.

I think the standard this year is going to be FAB-U-LOUS darlings.  :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

It certainly is a promising start to the series this year.

The standard of dancing is amazing for their first night,
and the lighting effects this year are simply fan-tas-tic.

It Takes Two on BBC2 is interesting and informative, too.

I love ITT, Zoe Ball has really made it her own, hasn't she. I thought nobody could replace Claudia, but Zoe is great because she has been through it herself and knows how it is for the celebs.

I was disappointed with Jamelia, I thought she would be good at the latin, but she was so stiff and just stomping around. I can see on social media that she is not at all popular, so I can't see my lovely Tristan getting too far   Delighted for Anton that he seems to have a decent partner! Loved Jay's waltz and Peter's quickstep, and it pains me to admit it so I will whisper I actually liked Daniel, both his dance and the man himself . Bottom two tonight....Iwan and perhaps Jeremy or Carol.

That's exactly who I think will be in the bottom too Osc.

  Re Daniel...Don's mum always had him crooning away on cassette whenever we visited.

And yes, somehow Jamelia just seems to get on people's wick. Mine included. :x
