Ok, I think I want to watch this show. Where might I find it in the net? I spend about $330 a week on groceries, but bear in mind, that's not meat, as I buy that at the end of summer. $330 would be about 150 pounds I'm guessing (without looking it up). I know we pay too much here for our food, but I'd love to get that cost down.

We watched this week's on the iplayer yesterday. Considering the awful repetition of their diet they all looked extremely fit and well on it! They could at least have the decency to look podgy and pale on a diet like that :P   Cringed at Greg flirting with the mum

You know my mum used to do that, we could tell what day of the week it was by what was on our plates!

Last night's episode was excellent.

A family living exclusively on ready meals and spending £330 a week in the process.

"Can we save 'em 50 quid?" asks Wally.......

With hardly any effort at all they saved £139, with plenty more to come if they look.

The programme totally destroyed the myths that eating fresh is expensive and takes hours to prepare and cook. They both cooked some fab meals and the children wolfed them down. If they did a cookathon one weekend day every four weeks or so they could fill the freezer with their own made ready meals.

I sat chuckling whilst watching this last night, thinking of you WM - throwing things at the tele.

They were a right couple of plonkers weren't they. Not enough time to peel and chop carrots but happy to spend almost 2 hours wandering aimlessly around the supermarket!
