Adding insult to injury

I think these stretcher bearers at a Greek second division match got out of the wrong side of bed that morning!

LOL, I think they certainly did!

Reminds me of the time I went to Walsall RUFC, a few years back now. There was a 2nds match going on, on the lower pitch, and an injured player was stretchered off. They brought him all the way round the main pitch and disappeared off with him.

At half-time, I went into the crowded bar, bought a drink, moved sideways, and just avoided stepping on the injured player, still on his stretcher, on the floor! They's dumped him in a corner of the bar awaiting an ambulance. He was quite happy and chatting with everyone - I guess he was hoping for a free pint!!

My husband was at a Linfield match many years ago when the stretcher bearers picked up the stretcher facing one another, looked puzzled for a moment, then set it down and both of them turned round and picked it up again facing away from one another. The place was in an uproar, but unfortunately it was in the days before mobile phone cameras.
