Well, whether they stay in Scotland or not is an entirely different question, Crommers .....

I cannot understand the mentality of the people whom we elect to run this country of ours.

Neither can I, Aggers. It's a particular mind-set. Waste of space, the lot of them .....

Edit: this posted within the last hour on the Gruniad's live feed regarding the Paris atrocities:

Hungary’s parliament has said it will mount a legal challenge to the EU’s mandatory quota scheme to resettle 160,000 refugees around Europe .
Justice Minister Laszlo Trocsanyi said the challenge will be filed at European Court of Justice in early December.
The bill setting out the legal challenge, which passed the Hungarian parliament this morning, said the quota “ignores the principle of subsidiarity and fails to grant national parliaments the opportunity to express their opinion”.
Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania all voted against the imposition of quotas in September.
Slovakia and Poland’s governments have also said in recent days that the plan is no longer viable after the attacks in Paris. Britain has exercised its opt-out on the scheme.

Merkel's gone very quiet, all of a sudden ....

Aggers, I totally agree about the "good guest" thing. Their own religion demands that they be good guests. Tells you how good they are at practising their own religion.

On the Christian thing I would say that the country is based on Christian values. Worship who you wish but obey the Christian based laws. Exactly as they demand in their own countries. If they refuse to obey the laws then they should be ejected. Exactly as their own countries do.

As for the borders.... Queue gnashing of teeth. The southern states would be doing much better if it were not for the EU itself facilitating, as fast as they can, this outpouring of illegal humanity, which is causing so much of the problem. An action which then prompts the EU "Organs" to demand that they take over the borders with their EU "Border Force".

To me that sounds like both a conflict of interest and a political machination.

Which is just one more reason to leave!
