:P Nonsense, whatever makes you think you're a minority? Certainly, from my reading of social media, it's us Brexiters who are the minority!!

Forget the polls, we all know how inaccurate they are - the general populace will vote for the status quo and their hassle-free travel to their Benidorn holidays.

Bit like the Scots did last year, really ....

That really depends on the arrogance of the EU, how they deal with Cameron and how the illegal immigrant crisis unfolds. If 2M more come out in the first half of 2016 and the EU demands that we all take them, then things may swing radically for the OUT campaign.

At the moment it's all to play for in both camps. However, in the end and as always, it is the actions of the "organs" of the EU, the commission, the council and the parliament who will drive public opinion. What matters now is whether the organised media, who want to stay, will report the bad stuff or not and whether social media will fill the gap.

Brexit for me. The EU seems to be run on the basis of what is "good for business", with the wishes of EU citizens coming a very distant second. The likes of Goldman Sachs bank wants us in the EU, which is a pretty good reason for wanting to leave.

But basically, German runs Europe, so when Merkel starts giving orders about who is going to take how many illegal immigrants - no thanks. Thankyou and goodbye.

And part of the blame for that can be placed firmly at the door of Thatcher and subsequent UK governments.

When the UK joined it had the second largest economy and population within the EU. Along with fellow new members, Denmark and Ireland, with whom we had strong economic and cultural ties, we were part of a pretty strong bloc on our own. We could have put a brake on the Franco/German pact and offered a different direction. The Netherlands might also have joined with us.

But no! Instead of negotiation and persuasion Thatcher decided to challenge and threaten, and what did she get? A rebate! That, however, was always on the cards due to the CAP and the UK's net contribution to it when our agricultural practices were vastly different from those in Europe. She never, ever, got much else.

So, the Europe we have today is not the one we could have had if the UK had played its full part.

To be honest I don't believe that there was ever anything we could have done to change the way things are. The EU is a mechanism to stop the countries of Western Europe going to war. Of course the only way they are going to not go to war is if the strongest run things. The UK was always outside that except for when we chose to be in it.

They are too different, in views, wishes and outlook. We should just get out whilst getting has such a low price attached. Later the price will be similar to that Greece is facing...
