Today's Syria problem is nothing like the Nazis in Germany pre WWII. The Nazis won an election and then started their war on other races. In Syria the people started a war against the controlling regime as part of the Arab Spring and it has not worked out.

The main exodus from Syria is males of a certain age. If they were true Syrians they would be on Assad's side or with the opposition, and they would, in one form or other, be fighting for Syria. They would not be running scared and trying to make a new life in Europe by trying to blackmail the EU that they are our refugee problem.

I just wish that our PC politicians and media would see this.

I often wonder what we would call it if our civilians rose up, took over a few army barracks and armouries and started attacking the government, legally recognised by the UN?

A criminal act?
Civil war?
Freedom fighters????

The hypocrisy is not lost on me...
