Given the ending there will be another series.

Yes!

You just know that he will be released and that she will finally get him, good and proper.

Bring it on!

Oh yes!!!!!

I thought the end shots of Catherine watching Ryan as he walked in front of her playing with his stick of wood were very touching.

You could practically see her thinking on what Claire had just said and her looking at Ryan and wondering what/whose traits he'll have in the future......

A wonderful series.

It was just brilliant, was emotionally wrung out by the end of it. When they were walking through the field, I was thinking that as a family, they don't get too many days of simple innocent pleasure like that. Wonderful series.

That is exactly what I was thinking when watching!!!

Sally Wainwright did a local interview where she said there will be another series but that she is going to drop things and take time out to work on new plot lines.

She very much is! As Osc says, wrung out was the word!! The scenes where she was reading the rights to Alison whilst trying to make her vomit the OD up, and the situation going on around her was just sublime....so poignant.

As was the scene where she chased and then talked to John....he was brilliant too.

I'm still thinking about it two days later...
