It turns out !that these migrant boats crossing the Channel have been going on for some time, according to Sky.

Apparently French villagers and fishermen have seen the migrants putting to sea in dinghies from quiet beaches. They have even been approached to hire or sell their boats by foreigners mainly from Africa.

If all this is true one wonders where these migrants are being landed. I hope the Coast Guard and Border Force know otherwise anyone from anywhere could be getting in any time they want.

Brexit seems to be moving ahead following recent publicity about illegal immigrants landing in Kent. Nigel has been kept firmly in the background up until now. Maybe they are beginning to realise he may well be their trump card.

So the Remainers are running a little bit scared now, and Rutte (Denmark), Rajoy (Spain) and now Merkel have started to get a bit threatening.

That's had a big effect in this household. Mrs O and I danced around the dining room table singing:

Who do you think you are kidding, Mr. Hitler,
if you think old England's done .....

I just want the bloody thing to be over with! The uncertainly over Brexit is not doing the economy any good at all. A Facebook friend who is a lawyer in Jersey says she has clients with billions to invest who are waiting to see what happens ( ), BHS would almost certainly have got a buyer but for the uncertainty, and the talk of an October election if Cameron fails to get the remain vote he wants is further unsettling things.

Why the stupid man ever had to inflict this referendum on us I do not know! We have far bigger fish to fry here, like the NHS, education, the coming energy crisis etc etc etc.................... :(

Actually we don't. Our ability to deal with ALL of the above stems from this decision. Whether we want to stand on our own two feet, control access to these systems and work independently. Or whether we want to be a slave to what the rest of the EU decides.

Because, let's face it, they work TOTALLY differently to the UK and they see no reason why they should make accommodations for us. Look at it from their point of view. They're all the same or similar, why should they ALL change because we won't align ourselves with them.

THAT is the decision to be made this month. Do we want to align our out of step systems with theirs or do we want to take our country, culture and standards and live with them.

Make no mistake. There are no opt out's, there are no ways of being different under the EU umbrella. There is just a different timeline to compliance. You might as well call the EU the Borg for all the difference it makes.

Maybe so. But not for giving us the vote. That should always be the sensible choice.

Where he is an idiot is in thinking that giving us the vote and then attempting to force us to see it his way, would have no personal and party consequences.

That really was idiotic.
