Oh yes, a great trip for Becky, she'll love the place.

Canada has loads of wide open spaces, wilderness forests, pristine lakes and rivers and all sorts of wildlife. What's not to like?

If she gets to Vancouver she really must go to Stanley Park to see the totem poles, and when there go to Third beach to skip stones into the Pacific. Capilano Suspension bridge is a must. And if she wants to scare herself witless then a stroll over the rope bridge at Lynn Canyon is a must (Ally take note). The ecology centre at Lynn is also well worth a visit.

Oh what a lovely thought Ally, thank you so much! :D :D :D

Saundra, we couldn't afford it, our little jaunts to Corfu or wherever, cost about a quarter of what that would, and to be honest if she settles out there eventually (which is her ultimate goal) then we will get to go, of course, and see her out there. Christmas will soon come ;)

Frank, I'll pass on those tips to B :D 8-) :D Thanks! She'll only be 40 minutes from Vancouver 8-)

Kaz, where will she be?

I was there for a super long weekend in '76. Went to Seattle Boeing factory, but I was RAF so it was interesting. Also to Whistler for a bit of Skiing. And also to Hope 'Gateway to the Rockies' at the end of the famous Fraser River.

Would I go back? You betcha.

Found it! It's in a wildlife park just south of Vancouver proper.
