Popping into Ourique later, to sort a couple of things out and also pick up more beer having 3-4 builders here really gets the work done (in the morning, they tend to go veeerrryyy sloooowly in the afternoon ) but they also get through a lot of beer, ours as well as theirs

Well it looks like another day of rotten weather, it's getting pretty tiresome now! Up very early to check my messages, and B is finally at her destination, and hopefully by now getting some much needed sleep I'm worn out! Hoping for a quiet day, there is plenty that needs doing here to keep me indoors

Safe flight Ally.

It absolutely pongs here, the plaster smell isn't too bad, but the cement stuff Steve put up on the new blockwork yesterday smells awful, a bit like a stink bomb Even more going up today, this time in the utility area. I can quite understand why everyone wants rid of them once they come inside!!

As well as dinner out for my birthday, eldest daughter M also gave me a voucher for afternoon tea. It's due to expire soon so I've booked us in for today. It's rather nice having 'experiences' for presents, means something to look forward to well after the event

Morning all, looks nice enough out there but rain is forecast, there's a surprise We were up early as the builder was due at 8am, but guess what, no sign of him Well I have stuff planned, so won't be hanging around too long. I have a bag of clothes for Oxfam, need to bring back something to TK Maxx, and buy some sterling for a certain day trip on Tuesday Back then to do some ironing if I feel like it. Mr Osc is going to play golf. Safe travel, Ally, and have a good day everyone

Nope We don't even have any plans We told Heldar what we wanted and he's doing it to the best of his ability and also making the best of the terrain, which is mostly rock and shale.

Not worried, it'll get done when it gets done.
