Back home now, after a lovely day.

It is so nice meeting VV friends in the flesh (if you know what I mean) and as well as having a lovely
afternoon with what are now real friends. To those who have not been to our Meets I can thoroughly
recommend them.

Glad you all had a good time.

Sorry I couldn't make it in the end - spent the morning bouncing estate agents to try to keep things moving, and the afternoon decluttering / packing!

I'm home now too, after a really super time, so much fun and laughter, some very nice food and the occasional alcoholic drink for some. Great to see Ally, Ria, Kaz, Frank, Aggers and Jo again and to meet the lovely Mrs Aggers. We missed you Ossie!

I got back at 6 pm and have had a kip, some food, and watched the footie - sad for Wales.

Well, what a meet that was, probably the best ever.

Rosie turns up, then never shuts up, Jo breezes in and its as if we had all met up last week. We go to the pub, the OC, and there is not a minute's silence with us all chatting and laughing. It just went on and on and on, and then some.

The food was good, the ambience terrific, and the staff outstanding, and we all remained sober!

People, put £2 a week away and get up/down to Brum for the next one, it will be more than worth it.

Me? Gentle retiring me who never speaks unless she is spoken to? 8-) By the way, I hope you absorbed all that info about the different types of manicure, because you never know when you might need it :cute:
