Good morning.

Back to scorchio (although the weather on our visit was really nice)

A great flight home last night, unpacked, did 2 loads of washing and pegged it out, had a shower and bed.

Said washing is dry so will do the other 2 loads this morning.

Then have a lovely swim in my much missed pool.

Plan to work my way through my UK visit photos and get them uploaded then laze around for a few hours.

Going in to town tonight for a few beers and lots of tapas.

The weather looks more promising this morning.
We are off on a day-trip to London in a few minutes, including a trip on a London canal.

Good morning! Quite a dull start here but it's dry.

I'm off to the gym shortly, then I'll be home to walk Billy and I need to cut the lawns today. The lawn mower has been trapped by flat packs since last Tuesday morning but I can get to it now.

It's Joe's Prom tonight - he's very excited!

Ally, I have to get the washing done as soon as we get back from holiday. I couldn't stand to have it hanging around any longer. Looking forward to seeing some pics!

Washing machine on here too - it'll all blow dry, no need for heat

Pootling - or doing nowt - will be the order of the day. we had a lovely night last night. The restaurant as good, the food okay (as I said to Jose, back in the bar, this was my first time in Portugal, anywhere and all I could hear was English We may go back, in a few months and try something different, but to be honest, I could have been eating anything, the sauce (for which, apparently, they're famous for) was rather over-powering, we both agreed.

Hey ho, every one else seemed to enjoy it and talking to a friend later, he said just to ask for everything "simples"

Wet and miserable here at the moment.

Apart from the electrician, none of the expected activity happened in the end yesterday. Think it will be furniture moving today so they can get at the spare bedroom.

We're off to the cinema to see The Legend of Tarzan later this morning. The trailer looked good, but it's had mixed reviews so we'll see.......

Morning all,

It's quite warm and cloudy with sunny spells. I've just finished putting the chlorine tablets in the pool. Mrs S keeps on forgetting, it's no wonder it goes green every year and we have to shock it and then drain it every two or three years.

Flying back to Edinburgh tonight and back to work at my office desk again tomorrow. My carbs I bought for my bike are also pouring fuel so I'm having to bring the original set back with me and work on them over the next fortnight to get them right for when I get back again. More expense <sigh>.

Have a great day in London Aggers. It can be wonderful on a good day and dreary on bad days. Although there is so much to do that even on a dreary day you can get away and enjoy it.

Jo, I hope Joe has a wonderful night at his prom. Given that both B and H have attended these, I must say it's a lot easier to kit out a boy for these things than a daughter The expense!

Well it's wet here - again - as mentioned earlier Harry and I are going up to see D for a bit of lunch - I expect some home-made cake is on the agenda too, as she does tend to spoil him I was going to do more washing before we went, but there really is no point!

On a totally different tack, it looks as though I might have my first hypnotherapy client in a long time, I am meeting up with someone next week for an initial consult to see if she wants to go into therapy or not. So we'll see I've not been advertising or looking for clients for a long time, but she found me, and asked, and I think it really is time I booted myself up the backside and did some work

Like Ally I put mine out at night - or for about half an hour in the morning, before it gets too hot.
