Morning all :) I am late to the party this morning, so lots to reply to :D ;)

Ally, have a fab Friday night out, will be lovely to catch up :)

Ton those dogs are beyond a joke, and it's unnecessary too, the owners should address this! Those dogs must be neglected and bored to bark nonstop, so it's unfair on them as well as horrible for you :(

Jen, have a lovely day out 8-) :D

Jo have a nice mooch in Brum, hope Tom makes it! ;) These teens do love their beds!

Morning/evening Weka :D Puddles sound more fun than Pokémon to me

Morning Vic :)

Morning Saundra, yes the news is just terrible, words seem inadequate at such a time :(

Hoping for a quiet day here, I seem to have been very busy lately! I need to get a bit of food shopping, but otherwise I'll be trying not to get under Mick's feet, and keeping the dogs away from the gloss paintwork! :P

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Thanks Kaz, I'm currently on the train. It was just pulling into the station as we got there! There's only one an hour now as well so missing it would've been a pain!

I want a quiet day too, the last couple of weeks have been busy. I think I'm going to have to aim for Monday being 'that' day now as the weekend is full of plans.

I know what our builders think    :cute: :cute: :cute:

Presuming you've had a word by now and nothing's been sorted it's time to just lay facts on the line.

Denuncia time.

Morning :)
What a lot of busy bees :D I'll just say enjoy it, all of you - apart from the barking dogs of course :)

There's a dog just 2 doors away at the moment that I've been getting a bit upset about. It's there with a man doing some work in the garden, but all we've heard is him shouting at it :( Not all the time, but I mean we haven't heard anything sounding nicer.
It's a very small dog, a little black terrier-type thing...this morning it appeared in our back garden :D Our back gate leads to the little alley for just four houses, so it had popped out of that gate and in ours (that's how small it is lol, it's a wrought iron gate that even the fat cat finds tricky!)
Anyway, Minnie, being Minnie, didn't bark but just politely thought, oh it's a little dog, I'd best go and say hello :D So she did, then the little dog popped back along the alley, thankfully all before the man knew anything about it :D
Their gate is a solid one, so it must have been open.

Got my new purple glasses yesterday, lovely to see everything crystal clear again :D
And the good news is that with the in-depth examination, both retinas etc are really healthy (surprisingly so for my age, apparently!); he could seethe floater I have and it's completely normal, should disappear but in any case I'm used to it now.
Bb managed to get his hair cut at the same time, but it all took ages, so it was really too late for him to head out for work (this particular job's in the centre of Southampton so traffic plays a big part).
He's been trying to have Fridays off but couldn't be helped this week so the day's all mine :D

Afternoon all,

Busy morning at work and also looking up the disaster in France. Phoned Mrs S just to check and to see if she'd had a good night las night and if she'd heard as she doesn't always look at the news in the morning.

Ton we had a dog like that here in France. We didn't bother complaining because the Mairie tends not to respond much to "les Anglais" even though they know it's a Scots complaint. Fortunately they were tenants so they were gone after a year.

Di, I was shocked about a decade ago to see all the floaters in my eye's. There is something about the way the light reflects off the pool and fills the eyes which allowed me to see them ALL.... However they all seem to have gone over time and I never went to anyone to see about them. So let's hope.

for me it's work and, finally, to get the bike apart. It means I'll be missing most of my walking this weekend but we still have rain and I have to have the bike in the dry which blocks the car. C'est la vie, I'll start on it right after work. I'm working from the apartment today so it can begin about 4pm rather than about 7 as would be the case if I was coming back from work.

Have a great day all.
