I've got the factor 50 packed, the bananas and pasta and David has assured me he's packed the cutlery as last week he forgot and I had to eat my pasta with a Pringle lid!

He's picking me up at 9 and we should be home at a decent time as it's roughly 16km.

Home to shower then off to Paco's for beer and tapas and there's a live band playing. We're meeting David there and some other friends.

It's a dull start here. Tom goes to work shortly and then we'll walk Billy. Joe's going to be out seeing his friend who was due back from his holiday in Turkey during the early hours. John needs to go into work at some point, they've been told that the electricity will be off at some point so he needs to go in and restart the server once it's back on. I'll tag along and we plan on a quick mooch around Lichfield. Tonight we'll visit my parents.

Cleaning this morning - outside, around the pool and Grumpy will be putting stones down for where I want a planted area by the wall and time will, no doubt, be planning more planting

Athletics to watch this afternoon, then we'll go down for a beer or three, before chicken curry for dinner.

Debih is it Cornwall again? My niece, who has been here for the last few days, is off to Newquay today, for a week, with her other aunt and family. She's getting a train from here, later this morning Have a great time

Well, as stated, Hannah is off this morning, I have really enjoyed having her here, she is good company, and boy can she shop!!! Can't imagine where she gets that from We had a wonderful day yesterday in Cheltenham Mick is going to drop her at the station after 10, and then we'll be out for our lunch. The Food Festival is on today in the Quays, the main attraction is Nadia from GBBO so it will be heaving. I'd love to go but M hates the crowds it attracts, so we'll see. Then round to see D this afternoon as usual

We're planning a bus ride into Margate today. It looks like Dreamland will be going into administration and we haven't been for a look round yet so as well as a walk along the beach front that's what we'll be doing. It will be a big nostalgia thing for me, I remember many happy days there when I was a child.

Sounds like a lot of busy things going on today!

Lichfield is actually quite an interesting place to mooch around, Kaz, but the cathedral is seriously gloomy inside. At least it will be cool in there ....

The Ostrich is starting his new football season this afternoon not too far away from Lichfield, at what promises to be a seriously hot Rushall Olympic .... not the sort of day for pie 'n chips ...
