Kaz, I know that.

I was meaning that Portugal is not as subject to the processed glop that we are in the UK. Staying clear of gluten should be so much easier if those products are avoided.

Going fresh and using raw ingredients is not as time consuming as some people imagine, and the taste! My spagol takes little more time than the ping cuisine version from the supermarket, but I know which version you would prefer. ;)

True enough Frank :)

Just remembered courgetti! A substitute for pasta, you can use the slicer on a cheese grater if you don't have a spiraliser ;) :D It just needs seconds in the microwave, or even just a kettle of boiling water over it to scald it ;) It makes a fab base for a Bolognese sauce 8-) Everyone raves about it at WW as it's so low cal, but of course it's also gluten free :)

So much fuss!
No point buying a load of stuff she probably doesn't want!
Just ask what she normally has, if she's used to certain bread etc she can bring it with her  x

No you just need the courgettes, then use the slicer on the grater :) It's certainly a lot nicer than gluten free pasta, which is horrid

Frankie slides the rice and salad way across the table and reaches for the salt, pepper and tomato ketchup. :D
