Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Afternoon tea would be my choice too Jo, always a treat and not something you usually organise for yourself.

We've had a lovely long lie in, making the most of the peace and quiet. After brekkie we're planning a nice leisurely stroll along the seafront down to the harbour, my idea of bliss :D

Hope you all have a good day :D

You know, afternoon tea was something I thought of but decided just to check with my sister first as we've been known to give identical cards or gifts before now and that's what she's got booked! They're real homebodies and stopped doing coach trips a few years ago, that always used to be an option too. I'm wondering if she might like a bird feeder for the garden, they've got a bird table which they love but a feeder on a stand could go into another part of the garden I suppose.

Afternoon all, just a teeny bit tired after a fun day with friends yesterday which went on verrrry late and we didn't get to bed till 2am  I've done a good bit of ironing, and having a bit of a rest now before our grandchildren arrive for a sleepover - I reckon we will be going to bed not long after they do tonight  Jo is there any show your mum would like to see? For our two birthdays last year, Miss Osc gave us tickets to see Andre Rieu which was a brilliant gift. Enjoy the rest of the day, everyone :)

Afternoon :)
Gorgeous day here, blazing sunshine, keep putting my hat on for the garden :)

A very successful morning, I put on a dress(!) for the first time since Christmas  and went into town. Only just managed to get parked, but had to make do with M&S's free hour.
But finally bought some shoes!! Clarks sale, only about a dozen pairs in there but I tried on 3...anyway I got these:

Oh and this is the dress I'm wearing here

Have a fab time Ally, they're playing at Bournemouth, on Boscombe beach after the air show :)
Hope you're all have a lovely day x

Good afternoon friends.

I've been busy lately. Yesterday I was re-painting our bedroom, which we are in the process of re-vamping.
This morning we were shopping in town. Next we will be watching our recordings on the TV of the opening
ceremony of the Olympic Games - after I've watered some of our plants in the garden. It's all go, isn't it?

It's a lovely day here. Hope you are all O.K.

Saundra, I have one of those giant teacups and saucers for plants, I bought D one too. She was delighted with it! :) Hope you find something Jo :)

Di those are both gorgeous, love the shoes and the dress 8-) 8-)

Jen that would be my idea of bliss too, although we've had a lovely day here - sat outside for ages at Coretto's having a paninni lunch, then I also got some fab shoes in the Clark's outlet shop. Must be national shoe buying week LOLOL :D We looked in the jewellers' there too, Mick wanted to buy me a silver pendant I spotted but I thought it was too expensive so didn't get it. I'm sure I can find something similar for less elsewhere 8-) Then up to see D, Mick had a bit of trouble setting up her new smart phone, hanging on the phone for ages with 02 sorting out a new sim but he got there in the end, then we sat for ages in the garden, in the blazing sunshine 8-) 8-) Oh and I rang to speak to Harry, he's just completed the first week of a 3 week NCS scheme, one of those for 16 and 17 year olds, and has just come back from a few days in Wales, canoeing and caving, he's having a whale of a time! Loves the lads he's doing it all with! Just home for the weekend, then back there tomorrow until Thursday :) It's been a good day 8-)
