Morning all,

I'm in to work later today as we're all going out for a drink tonight. probably the last time we'll all do something together before everything closes down.

I'm still job hunting and, today, I'm going to look for a lighter tent as I intend to head for the hills tomorrow and walk the mountains over the weekend. I've been watching some TV series till late in the night because there's not that much to do here. Which means my days start a lot later.

Enjoy the day all.

Morning all

Gosh Ton, don't think I'll be complaining about my neighbour and her cats again; your neighbours win hands down. Do you at least get fresh eggs from them to make up for the dog barking? With so many feathered creatures they must be inundated with eggs

Aggers and Jen good luck with your medical appointments and Jen, hope the kitchen moves along speedily.
Cruiser, good luck with the window. Hope it sorts the ant issue
Ally, Kaz and Jo - enjoy your respective days
Suff continued good luck with the job hunting - hope you find something very soon

Usual work day for me, meeting up with a friend after work and that's about it for me

Have a lovely day everyone else

Morning all, fairly dull here but thankfully not as miserable as yesterday, but there is always time! I have quite a list to do today, including getting ready to head to Blackpool tomorrow and tackling some of the ironing, so I had better get on with it. Have a good day everyone :)

Sadly not Ria

What on earth they do with all the eggs, I have no idea - unless they eat nowt else

The lady who owned this house before us was very angry with them - they have 10 acres of land, so built their house within 50 feet of this one      So she put up a fence and was also in the process of planting fast growing trees, to separate the houses and to stop them from peering at her.

She hated them with a passion, the noise, the mess, 2 years of having the house built - in the wrong place, for her, but they thought the best position for them, without caring about any-one else. The stress sadly brought on a couple of strokes and she's now in a home.

When she had this house built, the nearest habited house was a good half mile away.

It's sad when some people just really don't give a toss about others around them and it's always about them them them.....

The poor lady that used to live in your house before :( Dare I say at least coming from the UK and having lived where you did before you're used to having close neighbours, but still the noise and mess etc really isn't right.

How are those trees growing - are they helping a bit? Also have a look here - this may give you some ideas :D

Thanks Ria xx

She only managed to get a few in and there's only 2 left and as they're by the fence, we'll probably take them out.

We have no problems with the dogs getting over/under the fence and we're also going to extend the wooden decking to stop seeing them and their rubbish and compost bins and also the dogs from seeing us.

Not insurmountable, just annoying.
