No meteor gazing last night as we all fell into our respective beds at 1am!

We'll take the Harrington's food shopping this morning then over to their holiday apartment after that.

We're going over next weekend for 2 days and nights so we'll catch up with them again then.

Conor & Lucia are off to Almeria shortly for 2 days to a beach rock festival.

Don & I have a BBQ birthday party tonight....it's all go here!

Today is Soph's 30th, so we will be celebrating the day from 2pm till whenever.

Morning all

Looks quite bright at the moment, hope it stays that way for our journey up to Wilts. Hoping to find mother in good form. She's had a couple of UTI's which caused even more confusion than usual, but they've assured me she's doing well at the moment.

Things have been quite fraught with Terry this last week, lots of 'discussions' regarding the damage the grab lorries did to our driveway along with a few other issues. Things seem to be back on track and he's admitted the driveway is his mistake and needs to be rectified sooooo fingers crossed. Inside which is mainly Steve's side of the job is going well, there have been quite a few unforeseen problems which apart from the woodworm are mainly due to the previous owner being a very bad 'Derek do it yourself' Hopefully we won't have any more nasty surprises!!

Tbh it will be nice to be away from the house even if it is just overnight.

Gave up on the internet yesterday, was sooo slow

Jen, builders are the same (almost) the world over - never their fault, don't like admitting things and when you're doing a house up, there is always something to find that the previous owners did - and normally made a complete hash of it. Hope things are smoother and go well next week xx Safe journey too x

Grumpy out doing more landscaping - a few decisions made yesterday - by moi - that will make life a little easier.

Off down the bar later, as need some fresh veg. Ice tea and an ice lolly for me, rather than beer.

Well I'm a bit disappointed in the weather here - we were promised a great weekend but it is cloudy, a bit breezy and rather cooler, so I don't suppose we'll be sitting out in D's garden later We'll be outside at the café for lunch though, as long as it's dry, which it should be This afternoon will mostly be showing D how to use her new phone Will be ringing Harry later, to see how the second week of his NCS course went - the first week was a blast!

Good afternoon all!
It's dull here today, although the sun has tried to break through, and we had a little rain earlier which wasn't forecast.

Billy's taken us for a walk and we've come back and made a pot of coffee. The washing's blowing around on the line, both boys are still in bed and the plan for this afternoon is a walk around Stafford. There's a new shopping mall opening over the Summer and I think H&M, River Island and New Look are the only stores open so far so I could do with having a look in H&M for something for Grace, my friend's daughter, as it's her birthday later this month. I love their clothes for children.
