Tomorrow's yomp.

Is a yompathon!

It'll be a year to the day that David and I went on our first climb together (Caminito del Rey) and to celebrate we've chosen this bad boy route.

Start in our town by climbing Monte Palomas, down the other side of it into Torremolinos. Walk right along the coast, turn up to Plaza Mayor (very near the airport so Nerdy Norma will be happy! ) through hilly Churriana and back to our town and straight to Jose's for beer!

26kms and we should be back for 5 - but it depends on photo opportunities and food breaks.

Oh I forgot to tell you what my birthday present was from David!

It was a camping stool. :D :D :D :D

We were always saying that every time we sat down to eat the rocks used to dig into our bums!

So now I can dine in style and comfort - it's a fab wee thing that folds up and looks like a long brolly. I love it!

He also bought one for himself...twinnies.

That's why I suggested the cushion.

Mine is ancient. Just the job for a long walk when a sit down is needed for a drink, a bite to eat or to simply take in the view.

I love this yomp because I can picture a lot of it :D
We have done part of it, that whole flat section right along the coast, but that's the easy bit - quite a long way though!

We were staying almost at the top end of that stretch, I think the next to last big green patch :)
