Good afternoon all.

It's mainly dry and sunny here, with an occasional attempt at raining.
We've been for our usual walk into town but haven't seen anything we wanted to buy -
but the walking will do us good. What we will do after lunch I don't know.

Hope you all are well and having a happy day.

Afternoon :)
It's a mostly grey day here, but if you ignore the lack of sunshine actually rather nice, still warm and a light breeze.
We've had a couple of showers, but very light, not enough to water the pots.

Have a good time with your mum meriad, that looks a nice outing, hope you haven't got much rain.
Osc photos are addictive aren't they?!
Gal sometimes these bugs take aaaages, glad you're at least feeling a bit better x

Well we've decided we're going to go out for a Sunday roast, cannot even remember when we last had a proper roast dinner :D
It's not so hot, and we both fancy it. The Chequers does a fabulous roast (we've seen them but not had one) but I really prefer sitting in their garden or courtyard, and it's not nice enough for that.
We're lucky, also nearby is the White Hart which does a carvery on Sundays, so that's where we're going. Not till about 2.30 or so, neither of us would want it before then, plus Bb can watch most of the Grand prix first ;)

I've given him an early birthday present today :D
It's not till September, but he's grown a beard and moustache (which I have to say rather suits him) and didn't have anything to trim it with, so I bought him a nice kit with different length trimmers, etc and he's had a play :) He only wants a nice short, neat-looking one, so once he gets used to it this is perfect :)
Don't know how long the beard will last of course, but it wasn't expensive and stops him looking like a vagrant :P :D

Have a good day all
x

Evening all, I'm doing better than last night, I've got a good half hour before midnight.
I had high tea with Sasha today hosted by her brownies (which was actually really just a Tupperware party, which reminded me how much I hate those things)
And Oliver had some catch up soccer games this arvo as they missed 6 weeks in a row due to flooded/muddy fields. What a difference 2 days can make. Friday night gale force winds and teaming rain, today not a breath of wind and sunshine.
Hope you feel better soon Gal
