Still hot at 33 degrees but will lessen a bit over the next few days. Phew! At last!

Off for a run in a moment then back to get ready to pop into work. I'm going to pick up my new timetable and books.

I have an hour's lesson at 6pm with my Italian friend then home to watch some TV. That's the plan....

Good morning! It's sunny here and forecast to be cooler which will be better, we should be able to get an afternoon walk today in that case.

No big plans here, I'll just tat around the house and see what comes up - there's always something that needs doing! Need to do the food shopping tonight.

Kitchen man coming this morning, to sort out the niggles, and we'll be outside, sorting out stuff.

Morning all

It's much cooler here this morning and pretty windy - real jeans and jumper weather! I'm going round to D's later this morning, so I can go to the dentist's with her. Poor thing, on Tuesday she went in for him to see how she'd got on with the antibiotics and came out minus two teeth as there was so much infection there still, worse than ever, so it had to be done straight away and the holes packed with antibiotics

I feel awful that she went through all that on her own, but we were busy picking up B! So today he's fitting some temp teeth so when she goes off on holiday on Sunday (Ireland for five days, with a friend) she won't have a big gap! Some more have to come out at some point, but he said it was too much for her system to do it all at once Poor D

Becky has a cough, recycled germs from the plane journey I expect, so she's having a quiet day She tried to rebook a driving test yesterday, but nothing available until the NY in Gloucester, so she's booked for one in Cheltenham in December! She's also applying for some local jobs, in kennels, to tide her over until she gets her wheels and can look further afield

Poor D Kaz any visit to the dentist fills me with dread, it must have been very traumatic for her.

Good luck with the kitchen man Ton, fingers crossed we don't have too many niggles, it does get you down a bit after a while.

I'm off to Canterbury hospital later. Finally having breast screening after the fiasco at the mobile unit here. It's a nuisance having to travel for it, especially for something I find really painful, but better to get it done.

Warm and mostly sunny here, with a strong breeze.
Poor D, she's having a rotten time at the moment isn't she x

Glad the weather's good, my cousin L is coming , just for the day She's the one who came last year too, think I'll show her more of Lymington this time, although not too much walking as she has a broken toe, will have to see how she's doing.
Meeting her off the train at Brock, so can't stop
