Well...we've booked two nights in Nerja for 25th & 26th.

Craig & Leilani will be in Cape Town.

Jacob will be in Germany with 3 friends. (He's getting to really like that place!) :lol:

Conor & Lucia will be at her parents holiday home in La Cala.

So I said to LSH (long suffering husband!) :lol:

shall we go away for a couple of days. Yes, he said.

Within 15 minutes I'd booked 2 nights in the lovely little boutique hotel we always stay at in Nerja for the princely sum of €50! :Hi:

That sounds excellent - what a bargain too.

While we're talking about that certain special day, it's only 10 weeks until the German Market opens again in Birmingham, and it's staying until December 29th this year :Hi:

Since you've mentioned that day...cousin L brought me a lovely present, ready for that time of year

An egg box filled with six hand-knitted c-word puddings, complete with holly and little hanging loops

These are on pingpong balls but are meant to fit over Ferrero Rocher choccies, so I'll swap them for that day, but the balls are brill for storing them

They (obviously) fit into Ferrero Richer boxes, but nice to put on each place setting
