Postby Ally » 09 Sep 2016, 05:50

Good morning. :D

A rather nice 29 degrees forecast for today...but back to 32 tomorrow just when I'm going for a yomp!  8-)

A run shortly, back for a swim then relaxing with a coffee. :D :D

I'll sit by the pool and go over my new school books..it won't seem like work then.

Friday night beers and tapas - not too many or too late as up early tomorrow. ;)

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Ally,
I posted early but it has not appeared for some reason. I was up at 6.00 a.m
We are sailing to Livorno in Italy on our cruise.
Hot weather, plenty of sunbathing, relaxing and having a few drinks in the evening.
Have a good day everybody

Good morning! We've got a grey as drizzly start.

John's just left for work, he cycles in on Fridays when the mornings and evenings are light. Tom's off into Birmingham later. Apparently he needs more tshirts for his holiday - despite already having loads and buying another four in the last 10 days  He still had to pack, he doesn't get that from me. I had to stop myself earlier this week from wondering if it was too early to start thinking about sorting clothes out for when we go away...on October 21st  :P

Have a lovely day all!

Morning all. I had a brilliant nights sleep last night which is good as, as usual, I have a busy day ahead.

Take Shelby to dentist for 9am, call into the vets for her to ask about voluntary work, go pay the mechanics bill (he's getting cash as he takes forever to cash chequers and I always forget about them going through), drop Shelby in town, go get my eyebrows done and my back massage and facial (bliss), meet friends for lunch, home to fill out college paperwork and clean the bathroom, go to my mums to load all Shelbys college stuff into the car and pick up Lucy's new mattress topper, home to change Lucy's bed and out said mattress topper on, walk Millie, have dinner, go fetch the girls from town at about 9pm (the fair is in town) and then go to bed!

Maybe I'll just skip it all and go straight back to bed!!!
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone!

Morning all :D

Bit early to be sure, but it looks like we're in for another sunny day.

Yesterday wasn't too bad, the nurse was lovely and it didn't hurt half as much as it has before. I get the results in a couple of weeks time. We had a lovely drive afterwards, stopped for a drink on the beachfront in Deal and then went to Botany Bay for a very late lunch/early dinner.

More sagas here though, got back to lovely new doors throughout, but found the spare bedroom one is very noticeably damaged. Not a problem if it wasn't fitted, we could have asked for a replacement, but now it's been cut I doubt Wickes will take it back. Obviously the fitter, who Steve brought in to save himself time, should have noticed before doing any alterations so Steve will have to resolve it. Oh and the lovely new filter tap has a slight leak. Honestly, it seems to be one thing after another. When this is all finally finished I never want to hear the word renovation again

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all :)

That sounds like a good way to study Ally :D 8-) ;)

Debih that is a very busy day you have planned, hope all goes well, especially S's move out to college, sending hugs for that (((((x)))))

Morning Jo :) Do they ever have enough tee shirts? I'm always picking up new ones for H

Morning cruiser :)

Well it's sunny here, and blowy - think I'll strip the bed and get the washer on, make the most of it   Nothing special planned today, although a walk up to Sainsbury's later is probably a good idea ;) Becky is going to see her friend Jas, so will be out most of the afternoon and probably the evening as well.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Well....now that it seems all our birds have left/are leaving the nest we have been 'very tentatively' discussing whether to downsize as this place is huge for just the two of us.

I quite fancy a beachfront apartment (it would be easy peasy to drive to work from Malaga as the traffic goes into Malaga in the morning and vice versa in the evening. I'd be doing it the opposite way! ) and himself quite fancies getting an old finca and doing it up.

After reading Ton and Jen's tales on that front I am, most firmly, absolutely, definitely, putting that idea right out his head!

Morning everyone

Was blowing a hooley earlier, so keeping it cool - hotting up later :D :D

Huge fire down in Monchique, which is also affecting Portimao and Loule, very scary - we can actually see the smoke from here   Why oh why does Portugal lets the xxxxxxxx out on bail? The same bloke that lit this one, lit 4 more fires again     :cute: :cute: What used to happen was that the police would lock up known offenders from June until October. Much more sensible

Ally, down-size, much more sensible. This house is teeny, compared to our old house, but so much better. Doing up a finca would be fun, but quite stressy. Do both??

Off into Ourique later - we had a late night last night and have only just got up, so breakfast first - as we need some stuff for the garden, then we'll be putting in oleanders and a lagerstroemia - which will look stunning, against the white wall.

Debih, hope you can fit everything in your very busy day - or better yet, just stay in bed and read

Cruiser, have a good time :D

Egg butties for brekkie, I'm starving

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx
