Hi all from a sunny but breezy north east - perfect conditions for the Great North Run, although we were nowhere near it!

As Tom was out all day yesterday, he cried off from going to the farm so we have had a day out together which makes a nice change. We avoided the usual coast trip (due to the GNR!) and headed the other direction to Seaton Carew - it isn't as pretty in places but they are trying - and the sea was a stunning blue!!! We walked all along the front and then a bit of beach to feel the sand between our toes and then called off for fish and chips to eat in the car - bit too breezy to sit on a bench. Afterwards we went to Hartlepool Marina to see the yachts and boats, there's a ton of foodie places there so we popped in and had a glass of wine 8-) :D Was lovely!! Snooze fest since we got back LOL

Safe journey to D Kaz - hope she has a great trip! Wonder what time the girls rose? ;)

Wow Jo Tom's trip sounds excellent! Bet he's having a ball 8-)

Huge hugs for Ria (((((((((((((((())))))))))) I don't mind coming home to an empty house but it's not easy ALL the time, especially after a lovely time with your mum xxxx

Yes it was a little cooler last night but we are expected high temps again from Tuesday!!! :D x

Sounds like a fab day Gal, just my cup of tea! :D :) The girls got up just as Mick and I were leaving for the supermarket, so just before 11, but then they were watching stuff on Netflix until the early hours  ;) J is a lovely girl, really nice! Becky took her to the station about an hour ago, to see her off - I told her she is welcome here any time :) 8-)

Just got my washing in and ironed what needed doing - that's a dread job out of the way :D  Had a nice lazy afternoon before that, we all watched GBBO on the player, then Mick and I watched One of Us while B walked J into town :)
