Good morning! It's hazy out there at the moment.

Gym shortly and then back to walk Bill. Food shopping tonight and I need to get Tom a few bits as he's back at uni on Sunday. Joe's in college all day today.

Tomorrow Ally! :Hi: That came around all of a sudden!

Have a good day all!

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny at the moment, the forecast is saying rain's on the way later this afternoon.

Gosh the time's flown by Ally, how exciting :D

Things are moving along nicely, preparation work in the hallway is now done, it's the bathroom floor today. We're off out for our usual weekly shop later and will probably have a general mooch round, definitely best to stay out of the way

Hope you all have a good day :D

Ally, that's fantastic, you must be so excited! :D :D

Have a good day Jo :)

Jen you must be getting so bored with having to be out so much, have a good day anyway (((((x)))))

((((Saundra)))) a lovely place but so far from your family, I totally understand! xxx

Well we have thick mist here this morning, it is supposed to lift by later in the morning, so hopefully it will :) Need to nip to Sainsbury's later, I think B is coming with me, then her best mate Jas is round later, to see the dogs ( she loves Peps and Fraggle) and she'll probably stay or dinner

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all

Safe travels to the parents and Jackie for tomorrow Ally. Who is more excited - them or you? x
Jen, not much longer now and you'll have your house as you want it - it probably seems like ages to you, but I think they've done really well and quite speedy given all that you're doing. Hopefully you've got a bottle of something special for when it's all done?
Saundra, would you not consider moving to penzanze? Much better weather, but you'd end up with loads and loads of visitors
Jo, enjoy your gym and the walk with Billy. Food shopping not as much fun though
Kaz, enjoy your day. Must be nice having Becks back home x

Lovely sunny morning here today but same as where Jen is, they're expecting rain this afternoon and then all day tomorrow. And the temperatures are set to drop down quite a bit as well :( I've been loving the hot weather we've had.

Usual work day for me and nothing exciting planned for this evening, just home to pootle.

Have a lovely day all

Brilliant :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Watered the new oleanders again this morning, they're taking a while to settle in. Well, we've put them where we think they'll look good, when they're established, but the soil is rubbish - well, dust (and rock). They'll be fine soon.

Not sure what I'll be doing today, we need to sort the wood store out, but I need help and Grumpy has plans for stuff only he can do - I might have to sort clothes out

Won't be long now Jen and all worth it xx I'm just glad we only had the kitchen to do. Although I am thinking about the shower room.............

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

That they will be - they use Oleanders loads in SA to plant between the opposing lanes of the motorways as they are dense enough to prevent oncoming glare and are low maintenance. And if they survive that they'll survive anything.

It went very foggy here not long after I posted first thing, it started to lift and brighten up when I was on the common with Bill but that lasted all of five minutes. It's not quite as foggy now but it's still dull.

I've booked airport parking and sorted out car hire for the US. I'm just browsing hotels now. We're sticking with the Vegas hotel (I wouldn't dare cancel that!) but when I booked for LA we wanted two rooms and it meant being a bit out of the city to make it more affordable, but having a look around the other day I found a fair few cheaper options (much cheaper, £700 cheaper!) so I'm now stuck on Tripadvisor reading reviews. What I'd booked already can be cancelled right up until the day before we go so I can keep browsing.

Penzance is such a long way from the family isn't it Saundra. Probably something like an 8 hour drive from where you are and that's not taking into account any hold ups on the motorways. Beautiful part of the world but totally impractical for you :(

Kaz, have a good day with Becky! Has she heard anything about the job yet?

Soon be done Jen!
