Afternoon all, lovely autumn day here. We brought Kellie for a walk this morning, just across the road and she had a lovely time running around. She is having her sleep now so we have a chance to relax befor Mr Osc goes to collect Michael from school. Jo, bet you are getting excited, where are you staying in Vegas? It's great with US hotels being able to cancel up till so close to arrival. Have a good day everyone :)

Enjoy Kellie's sleep Osc!

I've booked New York New York for Vegas. The holiday came down to a family vote with two voting for LA, one voting for New York and one abstaining (Tom, but he said that as long as he was on a plane to the US he didn't mind where he went) so booking that hotel was a bit of a soother for the loser (me) :P

Kaz, have a good day with Becky! Has she heard anything about the job yet?

Thanks Jo :) No, not yet - they did say they had others to see, so hopefully she'll hear one way or the other soon :)

NY NY is hooge  There is a famous restaurant in LA, think it is kind of near the railway station, I know we walked, you can google it, called Phillipe - if you have a chance it is fun for breakfast. You queue up, have to know what you want in that American way, and then you sit family style at long tables.
