Morning all :D

Taking advantage of no builders this weekend and enjoying a nice long lie in.

Gosh this week's flown by quickly Jo, bet you'll be glad to see Tom safely back home even if it is for such a short time.

Popping in to see mum and dad sounds great Ally, it's so lovely they're able to get over to stay near you as often as they do xx

Sounds as though D had a good birthday Kaz. Westonbirt is lovely, hope the weather behaves for you all.

Glad we stayed in yesterday as the promised rain came with a vengeance. Pictures on Fb showed flooding in the town centre, water was running down the street into the harbour. It's not actually raining right now, but it's wet and quite windy. We really do need to pop out for veggies so will take the car in today.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning - just :)

Dull and breezy here, quite nice to have proper fresh air though.
Sounds like a nice birthday for D Kaz, and good plans for next week, 80 deserves a proper celebration :)
Happy landings to Tom, he's in as much of a whirlwind as eldest with his travels :)
Hope the motor gets sorted Ton, and have fun Ally :)

Bb's out working, and I've had a productive morning. Our mate Adrian, who sorted the garden for us, has been round. While we're on holiday he's going to come and sort the garden again, that'll be it nice and tidy for winter.
He's also going to sort the kitchen out :D It's only 10 1/2 years since we moved in, but it's never been finished off properly (big problems at the time with the kitchen fitters, we both kind of switched off from it).
So he's going to get the filth off the ceiling, plaster the bits of wall where tiles were, replace the broken floor tile, then paint the lot :D
Now I have to decide what colour :)
Cream units, brown granite-effect worktops, dark grey floor tiles...I'm thinking maybe a lightish tangy orange??
Bb's not keen on yellow for some reason, but otherwise I'm open to suggestions :)

Have a good day all

Afternoon all, we were up and out early as Michael was playing in his first football match, they drew 2-2. It was a lovely morning for it, thank goodness. Then we walked to the nearby graveyard to check on my parents' grave, it needed a bit of weeding and Mr Osc will spray it next week to keep it clear over the winter. Back home now and I am fighting a bit of a headache, so a snooze is on the cards this afternoon as we are going out dancing tonight. I'll bet Tom has had an amazing time, Jo, isn't he great to go off by himself. Saundra, I am knitting Kellie a little glittery shrug for that day between 24th and 26th December ;) Kaz, hope D had a lovely time. Ally, the usual madness for you  Have a good day everyone :)

We're back now, I'm just waiting for Tom's washing to be unpacked and then the machine can go on :D
He's had a fantastic time, he said he was leaving the hostel at 7am and exploring until going back at around 10pm. Whenever we've taken him though, he and I have got up at the crack of dawn and walked around before going back to the hotel and waking John and Joe for breakfast, we've never wasted a minute and he certainly hasn't this time either. He's just downloading the 2700+ photos that he's taken

Di, I like the sound of a light orange for the kitchen.

I'll post some of his pics when he's got them online Kaz, and Joe's chuffed to bits with the Donald Trump campaign mug that he's bought back for him as a joke

Hello everyone. I'm back, after a few hectic days trying to sign on Vocal Voices.

This was necessitated because I had to change my Email provider, which automatically kicked me out,
and it took several attempts and a few restless nights getting back in. But, thanks to Kaz, I'm back with
a new name. I'll have a go at putting in my old avatar when I can get round to it.

Hope you are all well.
