Good morning. :D

He'll dump his bag (I should say case but if it's anything like past visits he'll have a plastic carrier bag!  ) and then we're all going into town for a drink and dinner. :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Morning Ally and everyone

A lovely morning here to, slightly chilly at the moment though ;)

Have a great time with your family Ally x

Grumpy is going to start cutting down one of our mimosa trees - it getting much too big and in the way, so we'll get Felipe to finish it off later. I have ironing

Down to the bar this afternoon, as it's cheese day and we really need some lovely cheese - will have to have a couple of beers too, just to be polite

Have a great day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning you two :) Morning everyone :)

Ally, you must be very excited about seeing Jacob, and about the surprise later :D :Hi: :Hi: Have a great time xxxx

Happy Cheese Day Ton :D :D :D xxx

Well the weather isn't as good here as the last few days, but not raining which is the main thing! About to ring D to see what time we are all meeting up :) We are already two down for Sunday lunch tomorrow, P and M announced they didn't need lunch as they are popping into Bristol on their way home to see M's daughter who is at uni there - D isn't best pleased :? Hopefully nothing else will mar the weekend.................Fingers crossed LOL

LOVELY to have Harry here, I'll swear he's grown over the summer! I was on tip toes to kiss him when he arrived! :D

Have a good day :) xxxx

Morning you three

Ally enjoy seeing Jacob again and catching up and good luck with the surprise!
Ton, cheese day sounds amazing - daft question, is it mainly goat or sheep cheese or cow milk as well? All sounds delicious though - yum!!!!
Kaz, fingers crossed D's weekend is a good one; how is she feeling? And a pity re the lunch on Sunday but I do to some extent understand M wanting to see her daughter, esp as they are quite close to where she is. I gather P & M live in / near London or am I wrong? But still - hopefully D enjoys the Sunday lunch regardless x

It's definitely autumn here - the heating came on this morning for the first time :o . Mine is temperature / time regulated so on all year round and it switches on automatically when the temperature drops below 19 degrees. I was quite surprised when I got up and heard the boiler working away. Going to be pootling in the garden today, main job is to sort out the hedgehog boxes and get them hibernation ready. I'm heading off to Heathrow later today to pick up a friend who has been on holiday as her partner is away himself; and then we'll have a quick dinner and then back home.

Have a lovely day all whatever it is you're up to x

They live in Somerset, Ria, not that far from Bristol, but yes I understand it too, I would be the same in her shoes - I'm not a bit upset for myself but feeling it for D. It must be chilly if your heating clicked on :O It's still fairly mild here really, it's just the rain that gets me down ;) Have a lovely pootle, and dinner with your friend later :) xxx

Morning all, it's cloudy with rain forecast here, and definitely cooler. My main plan for today is to start putting away the summer clothes and take out some light wintery ones, long sleeved teeshirts, light jumpers and so on :( I actually discussed with Mr Osc whether or not to put the winter duvet on the bed but I might leave that another couple of weeks. I also want to do some knitting, and of course the second SCD is on at 6.30 plus we have some recorded stuff to catch up on. Enjoy your Saturday everyone :)

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here :D

Enjoy your family day Ally :D

Hope D has a lovely weekend Kaz.

Cheese day sounds interesting Ton.

We're expecting deliveries from Amazon or at least that's what the tracking info says, they failed to get here yesterday!! Fingers crossed they read the instructions and leave it all in the closed porch as our surgery is having a walk in day for flu jabs today so that's where we'll be going after brekkie. Afterwards it's a trip into town for fruit, veggies and a few other bits.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning :)
We've drawn the long straw today, it's cooler but sunny and breezy, a lovely autumn day :D
Bb's out working, nice and local, and I'm off to the pop-up farm shop, just open 2 days a month but they missed August as they were too busy.
Don't know what delights I will find but there's good bit of room in the freezer - hopefully some of their own lamb, and some of the delicious wild boar sausages :)

Ton I was going to ask about the cheese too :D
Hope the weather's still ok for your outing this afternoon Kaz :)
Have a fab time with Jacob Ally, not much longer to keep your secret (you're getting well practised at it now!)
Hope the Heathrow run goes ok meriad, gosh there was a time my car could probably have done that on its own too! :D
Hope you all have a good day
