Morning all, another lovely day here. We are on the train going to a funeral, the husband of a dancing couple we know. He has been fighting cancer for about three years. He was originally Australian, married to an Irish girl and they were the most devoted couple (no children). I was surprised to discover he was 60, always thought he was much younger. So sad

My not-much-to-do day has turned into a stuck-on-the-phone day. Flippin' banks!

Plants now in and watere3d, I've been into Ourique to collect Glad bags, laundry (she couldn't apologise enough, should have been ready 2 weeks ago ) and bought some stain for Grumpy to do the front terrace roof.

Afternoon all It's been another red hot day, unusually so for October apparently according to the lady in the mini mart! I've been in and out of the pool keeping cool Mick's been sketching. Our last day tomorrow - we had to arrange the taxi transfer to the airport earlier, as that has to be done 48hrs in advance

Still there's tomorrow still to go and we are just getting ready for dinner

Has anyone heard from Di? Hope they are having a brilliant time
