Good morning all.

It's dry and with a bit of blue sky showing here.

Nothing very exciting happening here today, but I've lots of little jobs I ought to do, I suppose.

Have a nice time, whatever you do.

Good morning everyone. A nice quiet morning here so I thought I'd pop in and say hello during a lull in my dramatic life. We had thunder and lightning during the night and the rain was hammering the window so hard it woke me up. It's dry now and we have been out the back of the house practicing on George's new power chair. He's not confident enough to take it out in public yet and I don't blame him as I stepped off it without taking my hand off the joystick and nearly ran myself down. It's going to be a real boon getting out and about once we get the hang of it.

Morning all, bright and breezy here and I have towels on the line. My final wash has just finished but I will dry that inside. Today is getting-stuff-together day - my packing cubes (finally  ) arrived late yesterday afternoon and I am inordinately thrilled with them, looking forward to filling them like the sad person I am  I have been out to collect the summer duvet from the cleaners, Mr Osc has gone to play golf so everything to be done for the rest of the day is holiday related :cute: My sister is calling out later on and we will go to the pub next door for something to eat. Have a good day everyone :)

Good luck to Becky, it sounds like a really interesting job :D

The painting's done. I've blocked the door off with the washing basket and a kitchen chair so that Joe doesn't go in. What's the betting that he does though. I don't know how, because I hadn't thought that he'd come that close, but when I went in his room to tell him I'd finished and not to go in there he'd already got paint off the door frame on his hand

Kaz I thought you'd feel the cold - I wore thick tights and a skirt on Wednesday when we went out for a meal....no coat though ;) :D Well it was only 'car to bar' so no worries :D

Good luck to Becky - it sounds a lovely job x

Ally I've never been on the back of a motorbike - how exciting!!

So today I am meeting my sister-in-law (Kath) and picking up my sister (Margaret) to have a coffee date at a nice little coffee shop midway between us all. We intended going to Wynyard Gardens (they have a lovely coffee shop there) but the weather is wet and I doubt the gardens will be as pretty - so the venue changed. We've not all been together for ages so it should be a nice afternoon.

Been doing housework and washing etc this morning, Jen's just come back from Kyle's as she is off to work later on and wanted to do some business work before then.

Hi Paddy, how lovely to 'see' you! :D The chair does sound a great idea, hope you both get the hang of it soon :D

 Saundra  :D

Gal I am freezing, even dressed for winter and with our heating on :?   Your plans sound lovely, hope the three of you have a lovely day :D

Have fun packing Osc, soon be on your way :D

I saw my client, then Mick picked me up and we went to Corretto's for a bite. My last washer load of holiday clothes is in the dryer so I'm almost there, and then I can get some stuff put away - it looks like a laundry round here
