Good morning.

Warm sunshine and a haze forecast today.

A power walk then back for coffee. :D

Conor's going over to spend the afternoon with his grandparents and have lunch with them. :D

I've work 4- 9 then meeting a couple of friends afterwards for a few beers and a bite to eat. :D

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning, it's forecast to be dry and sunny today but it's too dark to see what it's like at the moment.

Bit of last minute shopping first thing, both boys want me to pick up some currency, and then a walk for Billy. I can do the online check in this afternoon so I'll pack before then, check in and then walk Billy again. After dinner we've got parents evening for Joe at college and after that Tom and his enormous suitcase need picking up from Wolverhampton.

A lot of what I need to do today will be done while I work around mother in law.

Have a good day all!

Morning Ally, Jo and everyone

The mist is lifting from the valley and the sun is out - a gorgeous morning :D :D :D

Washing machine on - again  and a quiet day for us after our visitors. Had a great time and didn't know I could still drink that much

Good Morning all.

It's cloudy but dry here at the moment,

I'm waiting now for the BT Engineer to turn up, but they haven't given us a time,
so I'll just have to wait and see. The Parcelforce man has just delivered what we
presume is the necessary equipment, so that looks encouraging.

Nothing else has been planned for today of course.

Hope you all have a pleasant day.

Morning all

Ally, nice to have warm weather; it's really nippy here now. And lovely that Conner is heading over to your parents later. Because of the distance I never really got to know any of my grandparents which is a pity; we were in SA and they were in Germany and travel in those days wasn't as simple. I bet your parents love being so close to everyone x
Jo, good luck with your day - sounds quite busy but in a fun exciting way; lots to look forward to :D
Ton enjoy your quiet day; they are quite bliss aren't they ;) Lovely to have visitors, but equally lovely then when you have your home to yourself
Aggers, good luck with your BT things. Hopefully they turn up soon so you can still do something with your day.

From me, firstly apologies for not being in touch the past few days; work has been a bit busy and when I get home I'm just not in the mood for switching on the laptop  But then on the other hand there really isn't anything exciting to be reporting; it's always the usual - get up, go to work, go home    And that is what today will be as well

Have a lovely day all xxx

Morning all :)

Have a good day Ally :)

Jo, hope you manage to get everything done, that needs doing! One more sleep! :Hi:

Hope your BT man turns up soon Aggers :)

Glad you had a good time with your visitors Ton, enjoy the peace and quiet :D

Good to see you Ria, soon be the weekend! :D xxxxx

Well it's raining here, I slept like a log after my zumba followed by pilates class evening  Both Emma and I missed a class while I was away (she had a family bereavement, sadly :( ) so as our pilates teacher runs a class straight after our zumba on a Wednesday, at the same venue, we stayed for that! Pretty tiring but at least we got our monies worth

Not sure yet what I'm doing today - there is ironing waiting, but that could wait until tomorrow. We need a few bits of food shopping, but again that could wait. Might ring D and see how she is (she's had a cough) and maybe pop up and see her. Will see how it goes :)

Have a good day everyone :)

Morning all :D

Bright and dry at the moment, hoping it stays that way for our drive up to Wilts.

We're off in the next hour, there's no big rush as we can never tell how the journey will go, the M25 is so unpredictable. Spoke to Chris on Monday and she said mother's very quiet, they've upped her pain killers so don't think she's in any pain, but it does sound as though she's aware something isn't right. We'll be taking them both out for lunch tomorrow, hope seeing us will cheer her up if only for a couple of hours.

Peter's here already, he's busy rehanging doors and has other bits and bobs to do. He'll be taking the last two doors away today, they should be back Saturday, one's for the bathroom so it's good we'll be away

Hope you all have a good day :D

You're not wrong there Ton! I don't even know why she came back from Norwich yesterday, she was only there for a day. I really appreciate her coming to look after Bill while we're away, I really do, but she would've been doing her usual Norwich trip anyway so would've been here plus she's got a couple of celebration meals to go to over the weekend and next year so said she'd have been here for those too.
We're not going to be rid of her that easily when we get back either. We get back on the Sunday evening and she was going back the next morning. One thing she planned on doing next week was taking her car to Chips Away on the way to Stafford to get a scratch repainted. She's had the scratch for months but all of a sudden it needs doing. Anyway, they can't do it until the Monday when she was due to go home or it could possibly be the Tuesday. If they do it on the Monday she'll go back on the Tuesday, if not she'll be hanging around until the Wednesday. She said yesterday that she could've taken it to Chips Away near to her rather than wait longer up here but it'd mean taking the car in for a quote and then booking it in. Yep, same thing she's had to do with the place at Stafford.

Right, off to pack!
