Good morning. :D :D

Happy happy happy 24th birthday to my lovely twins Jacob & Conor. :D :D :D :D

Picking mum and dad up this morning and bringing them over for the day. I'm so pleased Ed is here too to share the celebrations. :D :D

It's the Rangers - Celtic derby so lots of rowdiness in the lounge!

Dropping the parentals back at tea time as they're going to the Tudor Rose for a meal with another couple and us lot are going to Jose's to watch the Malaga game, have a few beers then go somewhere for dinner. :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all :)

Ally sounds like a great day of celebrating - happy birthday to your handsome boys :D :D

Well it's a murky old day out there! We did our food shop yesterday so no need to go out. One of my cousins has spent the weekend at Bourton and might pop in the way home, time permitting - will be nice to see her if she manages it 8-) Otherwise a quiet day :)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Happy birthday to your boys Ally!

Nice morning here, plenty of blue sky but a bit chilly. Nothing much on but TV and Sunday dinner.

Good morning friends.

It's not too bright out there this morning, but we are heading for town soon.
Some stores don't open until Eleven o'clock, and we are looking for bargains from M&S.

Hope you all have a lovely day.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Happy Birthday to your boys Ally :D

We've had a lovely long lie in, so nice not having to get up early. Wasn't sure if Peter would be here, but no sign of him yet so guessing not. Planning a reasonably lazy day, need to do a bit of reorganising as we've got the boys for a couple of days this Tuesday.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all,

Internet back on after three were working on it overnight. It's sunny here and I'm working up to fixing the fuel tap and carbs for the bike (sitting out the back). Once that's done I'm thinking of returning the Vacuum I bought in Argos yesterday and buying the VAX which is in Lidl across the road. The argos generic one was £40 and the Lidle VAX is £50, supposedly down from £110.

I need to check where the receipt is but it would also be a useful run on the bike to check it out. So long as I finish in time.

Enjoy the day in whatever you are doing.

I'm recording Strictly for tonight so I can be relaxed about when I watch it and no rush.

Good morning/afternoon!

Today's plan is to go to the Hollywood Farmer's Market this morning and then drive out to Malibu and drive south along the Pacific Highway, calling in at Santa Monica and Venice Beach on the way.

Yesterday was fantastic. Hollywood in the morning, mostly spent walking along looking at the pavement to see the stars. Had a strange thing happen though. We went to Hollywood and Highland to get a good view of the sign and while they were taking photos I sat on a bench minding my own business. Suddenly a load of little old Chinese women descended on me and wanted their photos with me! John and the boys were in bits!!

The afternoon was spent at Warner Brothers Studios for their amazing studio tour. It was a two hours tour with a small group in an open sided 'bus', being taken all around the studio. Every now and again though we'd get off the bus and walk around the sets, the street scenes and in the houses. For instance we went into one house which was used as the Geller's house in Friends and there was the staircase from the Prom video episode if you've seen it. The highlight though was going into the Big Bang Theory sound stage and seeing the set! We finished off though by having a family photo taken while we sat on the Central Perk couch :D

Last night we had a really lovely dinner with my Aussie friend Lesley, such a lovely lady and I'm so glad we had chance to meet up!

Anyway, Happy Birthday Conor and Jacob!

Have a good day all!
