  They thought you were famous Jo 8-) 8-) 8-)

My cousin Tina and her hubby (another Mick) have just been here, it was so nice to see them as the only times we seem to meet up these days are family funerals :? Thankfully today was happier :D

Cooking a late lunch/early dinner now and watching GBBO :D

Afternoon all... happy happy birthday to the boys Ally, hope you're all having just the best time ever

Too many replies for the day to comment on each one but hope you're having a good day so far whatever it is you're up to.

I had a domestic goddess burst of energy today; made banana muffins and green tomato chutney (post on the kitchen board about that though :? ), drying out the chillies so I can make chilli flakes, cleaned the litter trays, did three loads of washing and sorted some plants in the greenhouse . Now not sure if I should leave the last of the green toms on the plants in the hope they'll ripen (they're small black cherry ones and we're apparently expecting quite sunny days, albeit not very warm :? :? or do I just call it a day and put it all in the garden compost bin? And I'm determined to find a way to save the chilli plants - there are still so so many green ones on there.

things to ponder over a glass of red wine me thinks

Afternoon all - seems everyone is having good days - Jo yours tops the lot, that sounds wonderful!! I shall be there in spirit, the west coast was always on my bucket list but I can do it vicariously through you

Happy birthday to your twins Ally! xx

Glad your cousin got to visit Kaz, too often we only see family at sad occasions, lovely that you have had a happier time x

We've not gone to the van - decided to write this weekend off as the weather is poor. Went instead to Seaham, had a very bracing walk along the cliff tops and then down on to the beach once the tide had gone down a bit - the waves were high and the sound was LOUD!!!! I didn't have my phone to take pics, too well wrapped up! Our treat was a delicious scone with jam and a latte at the coffee shop before heading back the same way to the car. We got drizzled on a couple of times but when we got home the rain was hammering down!

Going to rewatch Strictly with Jen, who has just got home from work, now and then have a play with my new GTech! 8-) :D :D

Thanks Gal, glad your day has been ok despite the change of plan :) xx

Ria we didn't get any green toms this year, they all ripened, so no chutney this time :( Off to read your post about it >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
