Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 28 Oct 2016, 06:41

Good morning. :D

Another lovely day forecast. :D 8-)

A busy day ahead.

Firstly Eduardo hairdresser is coming at 9.30. :D

After a shower etc it's off to pick the parentals up and bring them over for the day. (I can't believe it was 6 weeks today they flew over!! )

It'll be lovely for them to see Ed again, Conor will be here too, so I'm making a nice lunch for us all.

Ed's leaving for the airport at 3 then followed by Conor who's off to la Cala with Lucia for the weekend. :D

Don will drop me at homework club for 4.30 then drive mum and dad home.

When I finish at 6.30 I'll meet Don in town for our usual Friday night beers and tapas. :D :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all :)

Ally that six weeks has flown by! :o Have a lovely family lunch, and safe trips to the travellers :D

I'm looking forward to a nice day too, I have my client to see at 11.30 then Emma is picking me up from there and we're going to the shop where B works, to have a look at the dresses :D :D B's boss said as it will be a very quiet afternoon there we could come and have a look round! It's a beautiful shop full of gorgeous dresses so it should be fun :D Dunelm is next door, so we'll go for a cuppa afterwards and a look at curtains as E wants to buy some for her daughter's flat 8-) :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Time flies Ally!

Good morning. It is morning here, it's 12.35am. I'm sitting in our room on the 27th floor looking over Vegas, it's gorgeous. Really like it here, it's not as tacky as I expected it to be. We snuck off down to the Irish pub down in the casino earlier, there was an Irish band playing. They were really good.

Off to bed now as we're driving out to the Hoover Dam later. It's only about 30 miles away and is a must see in my opinion.

Kaz that sounds like a lovely way to spend an afternoon! How's Becky getting on?

Btw Kaz, I haven't been in Dunelm for ages. Our local one relocated from the town centre to a retail park about two years ago and it's such a pain to get to now that I haven't been there since it moved. I do miss it as I found it so handy in the town.

Morning everyone

Bit hazy over the mountains, but should be another warm day 8-)

That 6 weeks certainly has whizzed past

I'm going into Ourique later - on my own :Hi: :Hi: - Grumpy needs more stain, the cat needs food bowls and we need food, well, she does too. Pingo re-opened yesterday, so I'm going in to stock up on things again :D :D

More gardening later.

Have a good day everyone, enjoy your day Jo x and safe journey to the travellers x

Morning Jo - just!! :D

Glad Vegas is proving a hit :D She is loving the job thanks Jo - it's pretty different to her old retail job as they work on appointments really and there is a lot to learn about how to take the consultations, how to deal with the inevitable nerves and occasional strops, and how to fit the dresses on the customers, and look after the dresses themselves (they steam them) but she really likes it :D

I like Dunelm too - B says they have the C*mas stuff and it looks fab  :cute: :D

Morning Ton, looks like you have a new pet then :D Decided on a name yet?

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

It's lovely and quiet, so nice to have a long lie in.

Gosh Ally six weeks has flown by, enjoy your family day x

We had to have a new lock fitted, it turns out, 'Derek do it yourself' the old boy who owned the house previously, had made an absolute mess of fitting it, holes drilled where they shouldn't be  everything he touched was bodged in some way   It's a miracle it didn't break down sooner.

Food shopping for us today, the boys have emptied the cupboards

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all, feeling pretty good, we both slept well and hopefully have got through the jet lag without feeling too bad. Jo, we really like Vegas, it can be what you want it to be really. Enjoy the Hoover Dam. Supermarket shop for us today, that's about it. Hope to see Michael and Kellie today or tomorrow, my sister was minding them yesterday and she popped in on her way home to say hello, and so we could bore her with photos ;) :cute: Have a good day everyone :D

Afternoon :)
Dull old day here today, still it's dry so that's not so bad.

As mentioned, someone on that damned boat kindly gave me a cold, I guess it could have been something much worse. Not feeling too bad really, had to go out for milk so also got a chocolate cake to help me feel better ;)
Went to the support group this morning, was only gong to pop in to tell them I couldn't stay but they insisted I did, albeit at the far end of the table. I didn't sneeze or cough the whole time so hopefully they'll all be ok.

Kaz hope you enjoyed your nosing, what a fab shop to be working in, although I'd be terrified of making a mark on a hugely expensive dress! :)
Glad you're enjoying Vegas Jo, one place (amongst several) I'd never get tired of visiting :)

Glad you aren't too rough with your cold Di, and that you could stay to your meeting :)

I would be the same with those dresses, but Becky was pulling them down off the rails and fanning them out like a pro :D  Wow!! They have some seriously gorgeous ones there, the beading and work on some of them!!! :o :D 8-)  If I'd been 20 years younger I would have asked if I could try one on ( ) but it would have looked daft, so I didn't ;)
