Afternoon all :)
Dull old day here, although we've escaped actual rain so far. Been out, but only to the local hospital for my blood test, only had to wait just over an hour  :)

Well done catching Molly Ton, I'm sure she'll be fine but yes they can make one hell of a noise! :)
Meriad I hope it's nothing serious but let's hope your horrid boss is off for a good few days ;)
Jen it sounds like it really is nearly all done now, you have been a saint throughout the whole thing xx
Aggers the concert sounds lovely :)

Our over-the-back neighbours have upset me today, they had a beautiful cherry tree in their garden, nice size, pretty blossom, perfect for the birds to sit in - and this morning they've had to taken out :o  Why they would do that I've no idea, it wasn't huge, or overly spread, it was perfect

Hope you're all having a good day

Oh Ria I feel your pain re the boss!! Luckily mine doesn't work with me hardly at all - but that has its own problems when I want to talk to him about something   Glad you have a couple of boss-free days!

Larry Lamb is a cutie - he's worth watching Sleb for all on his own IMO 8-) ;)

Grrrr re the cherry tree Di - I had to chop a black one down here as it was too close to the conservatory in what really is quite a small garden - but it upset me to do it :(

Look forward to the photos Jen!

Have a good day all xxx

Evening all, back from our night away, had a lovely time and it felt like a whole weekend! The hotel was really nice, had formerly been a school until the late 1990s. We had a nice lunch, then sat in the lounge for a while. Eventually we went off to have a sleep, although my tummy felt a lot better I was headachey, and still was after a 1 1/2 hour sleep  However after a quick shower, getting all dressed up, while having a cuppa and a sandwich, it gradually faded and we had a great fun evening. Got to bed just before 2am although others carried on until 4.30am  Had the sort of morning we love on these occasions, chatting over breakfast for ages (they nearly had to throw us out of the restaurant) then more chat and laughter in the reception area. As it was just about an hour away from home, we didn't have to face into a long drive.

The evening was a fundraiser for the particular federation, and you could bid for a dance with one of the young amateur dancers. I succeeded in getting the one I wanted and had a lovely dance with him, some of you might have seen it on FB. Even though I say it myself  I was rather pleased with how it went. Early to bed tonight methinks, I am hopeless for late nights
