it's quite funny - on my way to work, just before you get to Waterloo, Pimlico Plumbers have a very large office. Every year the building is completely covered in Christmas decorations - and when I say completely covered, I mean COMPLETELY! , inflatable snowmen and Santa's, leaping reindeer, lots and lots and lots of twinkling lights, Santa on a sleigh - you name it they'll have it. Last year they installed and lit up everything far to early in my opinion - the weekend the clocks went back - and not sure why but it was March (I think) before they took them down. Usually it's around now they switch on and 2nd week January it all comes down and it's always such fun to drive past on a dark gloomy night when you're heading home.

This year however, they've 'only' got the Santa on the sleigh and some lights up - and it just doesn't feel or look right. I do really hope they'll do a bit more because as said - it really does brighten up the journey home

I'm sorry - but I can't see any Santa Face.

Clicking on *<[:{) *<[:{) *<[:{) doesn't do anything.

EDIT I've turned my head the other way and can now see THREE Santas

Very clever.  .

Aww Ria, it's a shame if they've cut back on the lights this year!

There's a house on the estate across the main road, a large detached house, and every year it's absolutely covered in lights. We used to bring the boys to see it before we moved around here, and the house owner collects money for a local hospice charity from people visiting. He dresses as Santa every night! A man who I see on dog walks lives nearby and he said he doesn't mind it but a lot of people do because it lowers the tone and increases traffic on the estate, but it's raising money for a charity and it's only for just over 3 weeks out of the 52.
I dread to think how long it takes him to install all of the lights though!
