Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 18 Nov 2016, 06:32

Good morning.

Another gorgeous day forecast..making the most of it before the rain due on Sunday. :P

Day 18 and I am now officially addicted to my challenge! It's done wonders for dropping the kilos and getting rid of my beer belly I can tell you!

Homework club 4.30 - 6.30 then meeting Don for our usual Friday beers and tapas..although no staying out late for me tonight as I'm on a first aid course tomorrow (and it's all in Spanish) so will need to have a very clear head!

I'm planning on Friday part 2 tomorrow when the course finishes at 3pm.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning! It's bright and sunny here but looks very cold! I'll find out how cold soon when I go out with Billy!

No plans today apart from housework. Joe's off out this afternoon to meet friends and then they're going to the Christmas lights switch on - doesn't actually look to be many lights though from what I could see when I walked through on Wednesday

Have a good day all!

Morning all :)

Ally, glad the challenge is having such positive results :D The Pilates is toning me up, but it's a slow gentle process ;)

Jo I hope the lads enjoy the Christmas lights, and they are better than they looked ;)

Well, after getting soaked at the Victorian Market yesterday I might give it another go today, with Becky this time. Work is very quiet in the run up to Christmas (nobody buying wedding dresses at this time of year) so she's got another day off, and said she might meet me in town after I've seen my client, and we could walk down to the Market. It's a dry sunny day today, bitterly cold but that's ok as you can wrap up for that ;) I would quite like to get down there again as there was a little ornament that D admired, so I might get it as one of her Christmas presents 8-) ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning everyone

Thick fog this morning   but according to the solar batteries, it's still very bright, and therefore hoping for a lovely day - later

All very quiet, Alan, Nina, Grumpy and Molly all still asleep - they're off down to Alvor later, to collect one grandson nd friend.

A quiet day for us - and maybe a quick visit down to the bar later, for a pick-me-up

Enjoy your day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all

such a lovely crisp autumn / winter morning here - had to scrape a bit of ice off the car windscreen, but that's OK. I just absolutely love these mornings. And this year the autumn colours have been so amazing and vibrant - so much gold / yellow which I don't recall from previous years. And it makes such a contrast to the red / brown leaves - just lovely.

Ally, glad you're enjoying the challenge - I really should try fit in something but being out of the house nearly 12 hours daily as it is I just haven't got any va va voom to try fit in more. Enjoy tonight and definitely enjoy part 2 of tonight when the time comes tomorrow
Ton, have a lovely day with your friends and enjoy the peace and quiet whilst they're all still asleep.
Kaz, have fun at the market and hope the ornament is still there. D will love it. Say hi to Becks for me x
Jo, enjoy your day - don't overdo the housework

Usual work day again. Although our receptionist is off today so it may be a bit busier than normal. I'm just so very glad it's Friday - I am more than ready for the weekend. Tomorrrow will be a busy day - out nearly all day; but Sunday is a home day and I just cannot wait.

have a lovely day all - enjoy whatever it is you're doing x

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here :D

Was a bit cross when the driveway peeps didn't show up yesterday morning but then it rained heavily all afternoon so fair enough. Was wondering what was happening today as no show again first thing, but I've just had a call and they're on their way. It's so close to being finished, fingers crossed it stays nice and dry all day.

We were planning a trip to the tip, but not sure now, could be difficult getting things in and out without getting in their way.

Will definitely get some piccies on here today, will have to do a few at a time over a couple of days, it's the whole bungalow so there are quite a lot.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good morning everybody.
Arrived home on Tuesday morning. Most of the washing has now been done.
It is cold and there has been a shower of hailstones and rain. Have been out shopping but not venturing out again.
Have a good day everybody
