Christmassy skirt

I saw a black net skirt in New Look last week and was finding a link to ask if you all thought it was ok or ridiculous for my age, but in the meantime found
This
Rather nice isn't it?

That's really lovely Di!

I bought a couple of skirts in the Summer, wore one for the nephew's wedding and thought they'd look great with a chunky jumper, thick tights and boots in the Winter but I've not actually had an opportunity to wear them like that yet. I keep thinking that I could wear one and then think that I'll have to get changed to walk Bill a couple of times so just stick jeans on and be done with it

I'm like that with skirts too Jo, I like them and think I ought to wear one for a change, then it's into my jeggings :D

Checked the New Look website this morning and the skirt was back up to full price, £29.99
Thought I'd go into town just to see...they didn't have it. So innocently asked lady at counter, said I'd seen one of those (pointing) net skirts on the website but with embroidery. So she looked on her ipad and there it was, £17.99.
They can order for it to be delivered at home for £2.50, and I had £10 worth of vouchers, so I said yes.
Then when it went through the till it was £29.99...after much consultation with other staff she decided the ipad was right and took the £12 off :D
£30 skirt for a tenner, basically :D

Jo I thought of you when I first saw the plain black ones, I can just picture you in one with your biker boots :)

I'm into skirts at the moment - mainly knee-length with my long boots, thick tights and a jumper or long sleeved tee depending on how cold it is :D

I just bought a new skirt today, half price in White Stuff. It's a knitted material, flips out from a wide waistband, site on the knee :) Just off to look for a link, if I can find one :D >>>>>

No link, will take a piccy :)
