Morning all :D

Looks like we're in for another bright day, it's still very windy though.

Waiting for Chris to arrive, the driveway's almost done, just a couple of finishing touches. The problem is the grass, apparently his supplier has let him down so he's coming over to show us some samples. The issue is quality, the two samples we've seen so far are not up to the standard of what we originally booked. He rang me yesterday and seemed to be suggesting we might have to pay more for the 'right' one, not happy about that so we'll see what happens this morning. Honestly, nothing ever seems to go smoothly

Other than that, we're planning to pop into town for some fruit and a few other bits.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all :)

Ally I painted mine a nice dark cherry the other day :)

Jen I hope they get done soon! xx

Well it's a nice sunny day here, the first all week, which is nice as it means I can walk to my hossie apt to get cooked ;) I'll be leaving for that shortly, then the day is my lobster - not sure what I'll be doing I might brave town to see if any Black Friday deals catch my eye for Christmas presents, then again I might not

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning.
Cold and frosty this morning.
Going to the opticians later for the annual check. It is a small private one and we have been going to him for many years. Treats us like a friend rather than another customer.
Then some shopping this afternoon.
Have a good day everybody

Morning everyone

Dull, grey, windy and wet stuff forecast :?

Not long got up, couldn't see the point of getting u and getting cold, so stayed in bed

A stay at home day today. I have some ironing, but only if the mood takes me.

Hope the drive gets finished today Jen and the problems with the lawn are sorted out, so you'll be happy with it.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning everyone and happy Friday :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Glorious sunny morning here, I'd love to be home today but hey....

Jen, I do hope you find a solution to the lawn issue; I gather you're going artificial turf? It's such a minefield out there about what is available and costs etc...
Ally, enjoy the evening with your friends and Ton and Kaz hope you have a fun day as well whatever you do end up doing.

usual work day for me, then meeting up with Nadine and Alex (who does our nails) for dinner which will be nice.

Have a lovely day everyone xxx

Good afternoon all!
It's beautiful here, cold but sunny with clear blue skies.

I went into town first thing, not Black Friday shopping but to pick up some chocolates to put with presents. I did look in JD Sports though for a hoodie as a surprise for Joe. He bought this particular Adidas hoodie a few months ago with some of the money he had for his exam results and he loves it and wants one in another colour. I'm 99% sure he said that the one he bought was a small and went to look online for one the other night but wanted to secretly check the size of the one he's already got which is difficult as he's either wearing it or has it nearby. I waited until he was asleep, crept into his room in the dark and picked up some clothes lying around in the hope that the hoodie was amongst them. It was so I went into the spare room to put the light on and check the size label. There's no size label in it. Anyway, I thought I'd look in JD to see if they had a small, then I could buy it and check the size against the one he has when I wash it next and return it for a medium if needs be but they'd only got M, L or XL in stock

Billy's had a lovely long walk and since coming home I've cleared the leaves up - yet again - from next door's trees from our back lawn and dug the borders over.

Have a good day all!

 Jo  I'm sure a small would fit him, LOL at you creeping into his room like that :D

Well I got cooked - up to 30 seconds at a time now - then took the bull by the horns and hit Debenhams. It was worth it as I got a few pressies - mostly stocking fillers but even so - and some very good quality wrappings and bows for half price! I also sneaked in a half price cardigan for myself

 Well done you!!

Well today is the day I definitely HAVEN'T gone shopping!! I've been off this past two days and all I seem to have done is go out and spend money like it's going out of style! So today I have bottomed the house - put the heavy curtain up at the front door for the winter, I spent ages in what we call Lewis's bedroom, although he never sleeps in it these days, so I dismantled the foldy bed and rearranged what furniture there is in there, and it looks a lot better!

Popped down to have half an hour with Jan, I won't see her for ages and we always have a lot to talk about!

Jen is back from Edinburgh now - aw Kyle is so sweet - he'd arranged for their hotel room to have petals in a heart shape on their bed 8-) :D She's had a lovely time.

Gorgeous sunny day today - quite icy at first, but lovely when I walked down to see Jan :D

Have a lovely Friday all!! 8-)
