One of John's cousin's in the US died in September and he found his online obituary tonight. Why don't we do something like that over here? They're quite lovely to read through, giving the background to the person and mentioning all of the family. I've read quite a few for the family over there in the last hour.

Daiv flew to Svalbard this morning which is only 1300km from the north pole!

He's going on an expedition cruise and will hopefully see polar bears, Arctic foxes and whales.

He posted a pic on fb - it's absolutely pitch black at 12 noon.
