The Random Thread

It's been a productive day. John and the boys left for Wales so I walked down to town to pick up the hoodie I'd ordered for Joe from JD. This morning he actually mentioned buying himself the same hoodie if he had enough money after Christmas so I think I've done good there. On the way home I picked up an Amazon parcel from the post office. I had it delivered there because I didn't want to have to wait in for it to be delivered to home. I took Billy out for another walk when I got back, then I put the tree up when I got home. After dinner I wrapped presents.
Once they were finished I spent a while looking out of the landing window at a light over on the common, it was very bright and not moving. I couldn't make out if it was on the common itself or just above it, too dark to tell. Maybe the police helicopter hovering around. I don't know. Funnily enough when I walked to the town there were two paramedic cars parked up by the entrance to the park (which borders the other side of the common) but when I walked past again on the way home they'd been joined by an ambulance and a police van. No idea what had happened.
