Kaz, I'm not a fan of wrapping presents either. Oh for a lottery win so someone can wrap and shop for me, and write the cards too ;)

Ria, it's various things from various shops that I need, not just all from one place. It's not like we buy a lot of food for Christmas anyway, I'm not one of those who walks around the supermarket with a trolley filled to the brim with food for two days  Really it's just stuff for Christmas Day and Boxing Day evening, we get back to normal after that. It's just the thought of having to think about what I'll need

Morning all,

Heading to work later today, but generally better.

Ria, some people like late parties and burning the candle at both ends. I never did so getting older just keeps things the same for me. It doesn't make me feel old... :) :)

Just work today and getting another key cut. About as much as I can handle. It was clear last night as I could see the moonlight under the window blind but it's back to overcast and miserable this morning. Just as well I wasn't looking for a nice day.

Oh I am feeling rather pleased with myself.

4 loads of washing done and on the line.

Christmas tree up and I've wrapped all the presents and they're now sitting shiny and new under it.

The rest of my cards written for the UK and I'm now going to the post office to post them and a small parcel for someone who likes curries.

Honestly Saundra, you could feed an army with the amount of food you see in some trollies before Christmas! I know some will be for parties but there must be so much waste!

Saundra, I could just fancy beans on toast right now!

Yes Ally, coffee on the terrace in December means you probably aren't in the UK. Drying washing on the line only confirms it!

MrsC has just gone shopping. We were supposed to be going out to Ripon today but I seem to have caught throat death; my voice sounds like Boris Karloff, so I'm staying in to keep warm and drink lots of tea.

Have a good day all.

Good morning all.

It's dull, but dry here.

We are going out today for our annual Christmas lunch with our friends here at the Lodge.
(always an enjoyable event).

Hope you are all well. (I'm fine.)
